Can I save the V8 to an external hard drive?

The V8 / V8 Pro must be installed on the host device, but the blob files can be saved or moved to an external hard drive 

When installing the plugin, you can change the save location of the ‘blob’ files. (The blob files are essentially where the content of the plugin is stored and are the largest files associated with the plugin).

If you have already installed the plugin, you can locate these files (and move them to an external HD) via the following file path.

Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Rhodes > Rhodes V8 Pro

The blob files are called RHODES-V8PRO_part1.blob and RHODES-V8PRO_part2.blob
